- I have an A1200 with a CSA 12 Gauge 030 50MHz. I am reasonably happy with
- this set up. It clocks 1/2 the speed of an A4000 040 25 MHz. Included are
- 1 Simm socket that requires 60 ns memory, a coprocessor socket, and SCSI.
- I have only used the SCSI for a CD drive and it works fine.
-
- I say reasonably happy due to conflicts with most games as well as AMAX
- II. There is a jumper to disable the CSA which I have rigged up a switch
- to for games play, so thats not much of a problem. However the Amax
- incompatibility is disappointing. I am going to try Shapeshifter to see if
- the same conflict exists.
-
- I have run the system for extended periods with no craches or heat related
- problems.
-
- Conclusion: If you don't plan on using Amax, I would highly recommend this
- set-up.
